so i'm in class now, i should be paying attention but i can't focus. i must be honest in saying i'm pretty bummed out today. thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and i'm sad that i won't get to celebrate it like normal.
today leah, cameron, krista and i are going to have our own little thanksgiving but we couldn't find a turkey or the things to make a simple green bean casserole. canned goods are not common here so i could not find cream of mushroom soup or anything similar.
after that there is a "french cafe" where the french students will cook for the rest of us showing us great common french food... we are going to that around 8 after eating our thanksgiving dinner... so i'll be having lots of food but it won't be the same...
i think after that we are going to the bar where everyone (all the international students) hang out on thursday nights... so it won't be a real thanksgiving... but i'm getting my whining out so that i can try to enjoy the thanksgiving i will be having...
so everyone please eat lots and lots of real thanksgiving food for me! i guess duck is our subsitute... weird... oh well...
