it wasn't supposed to start raining till noon! haha!

i am wet... i feel like i am at a good temperature now finally now that i got rained on but i am very wet... :) oh well... i finally got out of all my wet clothes but i felt like i jumped into a swimming pool... and there was no sun to get rid of any of the moisture... oh well there are clothes draped around my room it could be decoration! ;)

of course it says that there is light rain till 7pm tonight... so i ended up taking out my gear and heading back... but now that i'm back and in my room the sprinkling has resided... because i'm home... and out of it... oh well... at least i know i'm not a wicked witch... i didn't melt! and it was a lovely temperature... i'm sure the danes are freezing but i feel warm still soaking...

(so i went and took a break from writing to go grab some lunch... haha wouldn't you know that sun comes out... it said for the last 2 days and even this morning... rain alllllll afternoon... but once beth decides to go in it then it can stop! oh well i really liked it... and now i know i can survive in it.)

so today i had my orientation day... well it was more like a 2 hour lets go over some rules and get you acquainted with what needs to happen to make sure you are not kicked out of the country... i now have my schedule and know that i've got everything taken care of so i can stay here for the semester at least... i will have to fill out an extension so i can stay the whole year but that should be pretty easy...

i am excited i got my schedule finally! it will definitely be different than in the states... i'll have to read and retain a lot more information but it will be good! a nice change... who knows i might even read a text book! haha...

so i know everyone will be jealous (but the exams are supposed to be crazy hard so don't get too jealous!) here it is... :)

*Monday: Danish/Scandinavian Culture--> 10:15-13.00 (aka 1pm ;) hehe)
*Tuesday: Danish/Scandinavian Modern History --> 9:15-11:00
Comparative Welfare Studies--> 12:15-14:00
(but this class doesn't start till week 43 which in real people language means that it starts on October 20th)
*Wednesday: Intercultural Marketing--> 9:15-12:00
(this class ends in week 47 which is November 18th because there is a huge project that must be completed before exams)
*Thursday: There is a reserved time for when we need to watch films between 9:15 and 13:00.
Scandinavia Literary aspects--> 13:15-15:00
*Friday: NO CLASS unless we need to make anything up!!! :) yay! i have long weekends now!

the professor (which we call everyone by first names not 'mr/mrs, prof, or dr') told us that there is a lot of parting on Thursday nights so they chose not to make any classes that day because half the students wouldn't show up and the other half were not fit for learning! haha...
***fun danish fact: Bjørg told me that danes hold the record for the most drinking... they enjoy it very much...***

i also found out that i have a weeklong autumn vacation!!! wooo... in week 42 which is October 11 to the 18th! can't go wrong with that...

i also learned about a group on campus that is called the ESN... which is the ERASMUS/Exchange Student Network... they are a student group that does trips and lots of fun cultural things around campus and such... they have a 'cottage trip' i'm guessing sorta like camping, a trip to copenhagen, and a trip to berlin... i'm going to sign up and be a member and try to meet lots of people and do some interesting things... along with the cheap trips! wooo! :)

well the rest of the day will just be laid back... i probably should go do something tonight... problem is i'm not much of a drinker... i know there is a bar open tonight and tomorrow in the dorm... but we will see... i could go do and try to meet some people... :-/ hummm we will see... probably should... hummm... i like meeting people but not a fan of drunk and smoking idiots who don't speak english very well! haha!

well think i might end up taking a nap... the weather is kinda gloomy... perfect! :)
