saturday morning was kinda rainy so i decided to sleep in late... wooo! i do love my sleeping in... especially on rainy mornings! i got moving around 10:30 or so with the shower and then i went and cooked up some of the peppers i got at the bazar and some pasta... it hit the spot... i felt like i was sorta cooking for real rather than just throwing things together like i have been... it was nice! :)
i decided after eating that i should head out and find me some lights for my bike... the law requires you to have a white light in front and a red light in back when it gets dark and even good to have them around dusk... helps the cars and others see you, which i like! i ended up talking a nice walk through the park to the shopping streets and down to fotex... once there i was able to find lots of bike lights... some of them by battery power and others by a magnetic strip that you connect on your wheel and the light so that when you pedal and they slide against each other flashing... but they were expensive and i'll only be here for a year... plus i have rechargeable batteries! woooo me... prepared! mostly...
i tired to find a few notebooks for school because their paper is longer than paper from the states so i waited... but didn't find really anything but loose leaf and i don't have a binder to put it in... so not yet.. i'll keep looking... part of me just wants to use my laptop for taking notes because i don't have to draw any staffs or notes or pictures of instruments haha so i should be good taking normal notes!
i stopped at a local bakery on my way back home and grabbed a few danish danishes! ;) haha... i was going to save one for sunday but they were too yummy... and they sat in my room calling my name! hate when they do that... but at least i got out for a walk... ***note to self: do not leave yummy danish pantries in room... will not last through the day...***
there was a welcome party at a club "retro" at 10pm for the ESN students... i went with the american girls and two canadian girls.... it started raining before we got inside... oh well we weren't rained on too much... it was a lot of techno music holy junk! i can still hear the techno beat in my head... it was fun to have lots of crazy international students... they even gave us three free beers... i'm sure you all just rolled your eyes knowing that first i don't drink beer and second well i don't ever drink more than one drink! but it was fun i told one of my best friends i'd try to drink at least one... i was working on it pretty well but not even halfway through it got warm and icky and we decided to leave... i am proud that we stayed for 2.5 hours! yay me... that is a first...
got home around 1 was pretty awake for an hour longer but then crashed hardcore!
