so choir last night went really really well... the people are very nice and welcoming... gave me a chance to dust off my sight singing skills they are a little rusty but not too bad... i was told that my swedish was good (haha! i don't know swedish i just was listening to them and trying to pick up on the silly vowel changes... yay i can fake swedish... singing of course...)
the director is also very nice... it will take some time getting used to his conducting style... there isn't a strong ictus like how i was taught which makes it hard to figure out sometimes but i'm sure i'll get it...
the ride back to my house was so so so so so quiet that it was creepy but i got back safe and i've got my letherman (knife) and other defense tools with me at handy locations so i'm prepared to take on anyone who wants to try...
