so thursday i had my literary aspects class... it was in the afternoon so i was able to go sign up for the esn trip to berlin beforehand so i'll be going there in a month or so... :)
the literary aspects of scandinavian culture is going to take some getting used to as far as the teacher goes... he seems like a nice guy he is just older and sometimes i can't understand anything he says due to his mumbling and emphasis on the wrong sylables of words... oh well i'm sure i will get used to it...
that morning was an adventure getting to school... krista's bike needed a tire fixed but rishma came with me on bike to school for the first time... it was an adventure... she is such a trooper... she even did it in strappy heels! :) she was scared but she did great!
so after class we headed back home... however i was going to meet bjorg at her place... i had some mail that is in danish that i needed her to read for me... and she is one of the coolest people i've ever met...
i stopped at a bakery called bæks... because when you vist a friend you bring something tasty along to have with your tea as you visit! i ended up getting some sort of marzipan cake thing with chocolate on top... it was divine! yum yum... bjorg even said it was one of her favorite things! yay me for guessing based on it being the prettiest! i guess you can guess a cake by it's cover! ;)
i stayed at bjorg's house for a few hours... then we suddenly realized it was dinner time... we eat the traditional danish sandwiches... except this time we had smoked salmon and then (i said i would try everything once) this liverpaste and cucumber sandwich... and actually it wasn't too bad but to be honest i only put a thin layer on... :) but have to try everything once right? plus they eat it alot here so it something that is easily available...
after dinner i headed out back home... and of course a lovely ride through the parks... :)
so that was my thursday...
