so friday... had the maked up class for marketing... not too happy about it... only because it started raining around 8 when we wanted to head out... :( sad day...
so krista, rishma and i were quite the trio of wet wet wet bike riders... it took us forty mintues to get there... but even though wet we made it in one peice... haha...
i even brough extra pants and a sweater and was freezing in class damp and just cold... ick! but everyone was damp and cold so we fit in! haha.
class was really interesting... i've never taken any marketing classes at all... so it will be compleatly different... but i think i could like it... especially due to the fact that it is interculural marketing so the culture aspect should be really interesting... plus the teacher is really fun... she is the only person that has been loud enough to hear...
after class got done... holy junk was it windy... like crazy wyoming windy... i felt so bad... rishma is so light that we ended up walking our bikes partway because she got pushed off hers! but somehow after lots of skilled balance and some more walking the bikes through windy parts of town we got back home... the weather was not very nice to us...
after a few hours of warming up and some down time we decided to head into the center of town... it was apparently "culture night"... so we thought we'd check it out... the shops were even open late till 10pm! wooo! so after walking around for a bit we dropped into where bjorg works to say hi and let her meet rishma and kirsta... :) after that we wanted to get something to eat... we headed over to a place that was labeled as a steakhouse... had my first burger and fries since i've been here! crazy! it was pretty tasty we were able to use the salad bar to create our toppings... :) put on some pesto and feta and tomatoes... it was lovely!
after we got done eating and finally got our checks... (the danes take a long time to eat and enjoy themselves)... we headed out on the streets again... rishma had seen a really cute hat back at a store we went into so we headed back to get it! :)
after we got done it was 10 and all the shops were closing and most of the activities in the square were done... except a trailer with squaredanicing we hung out for a bit watching.... then we headed back home after the long morning dealing with the weather it was nice to go home... :)
the bar downstairs opened up last night but i was just too sleepy to go down... and i didn't want to ever go down in the basement without a friend so maybe next week!
