ok so the day did not start out so hot... i only had 4 hours of sleep (but for good reasons to be revealed in a later blog... :)....) so when i got up i was going to email my teacher my assignment for my marketing class that i was planning on missing so that i could finish packing and sleep a tiny bit more before we headed to the airport. however the internet wasn't working... imagine that... i needed it so of course it didn't work... i waited around for an hour and a half until i broke down and packed up my junk and headed to the university...
i made it to the university in 15 min!!! it was exciting... but once i got there it took me an hour to email me and krista sent me a email telling me i needed to get a hard copy to the office and to the teacher... so i had to run around try and print it and get the right cover pages etc...
after i got back it was only about 20 minutes till we left to go to the train station... after a 2 hour train ride we arrived in copenhagen... it was sooooo quick to get through the airport check in and security that we had to wait around for 2 hours! oops... now we know you really don't need 3 hours let alone probably not 2!
we got to london and had to figure out what to do to get into the city... we finally figured out that we could take the gatwick express into london by victoria. after we got to victoria we grabbed soe fast food... i was soooo happy to get some KFC but sadly they did not have biscuts or mashed potatoes.... what is KFC without them!?!?! but still got some yummy chicken and after not having (basically) any fast food since i've been here it was a real treat!
we finally figured out that we could take the "tube"/underground to a station near our hostel...
i will be totally honest big cities freak the junk out of me... i know i worry way toooooooo much... i just know i don't have any "street smarts" and that worries me... i know i would be an easy target for anyone who wanted to confront me... i got better after we started day 2 but still not great...
we got to the hostel finally... i'm actually proud we found it after we had a crappy printout from google maps... i was so glad to get into bed... we ended up this round getting a private 3 bed room rather than sleep in a dorm with 6-22 people... haha!
well that is the end of wednesday... i'll try to write more as i get the motivation! so much happened and it is hard for me to sit still to write it down! haha!
