so yesterday i had my first class.... danish/scandinavian modern history... we talked about the scandinavian 'identity' and their character traits in general... i think it will be a very interesting class... i've decided that i have to leave 45 minutes early so that i can accommodate for every stop light and if i'm crazy slow on my bike... it worked out well yesterday so i'll keep it up...
there was a sign on the door so my wednesday class was moved to friday morning for this week.... which leaves wednesday free... this weeks is too easy that i'm almost to the point of bored but thats ok... i'm sure i'll be busy enough soon!
after class krista, rishma and i wanted to check out bilka for a few items... so bilka is huge... it so big i was afraid to get lost! imagine sam's club in cheyenne but increase its size by 50%.... crazy...
first though rishma and i went to one of the accommodation offices to file a complaint with one of the washers down stairs... rishma's clothes had been trapped since monday night because the water would not drain out... it takes so much more time to walk instead of taking a bike... but doesn't hurt to have a little more of a work out...
after going and filling a complaint at the accommodations office we headed over to bilka to meet kirista... by the time we had gotten over there it was past lunch and i forgot to pack something... we ended up grabbing something quick at bilka... they had 12 slushy machines going! haha! it was a dream come true after being in the hot sun... plus who can really turn down a slushy!?!?! not i....
we walked around bilka for a while... i got a hairdryer (finally~!), a basket for my bike and a helmet (just in case...) after leaving bilka i got the most horrible headache in the sun... i am pretty sure i was dehydrated... i left krista and rishma to ride back on my bike... the walking was really getting to me...
it was quite the task to get back with all the junk i had... my backpack (with laptop), new schoolbooks, a basket that i have to put on my bike (i forgot my leatherman in my room), the helmet box (helmet on my head), and uh it was a task... but somehow i made it... :)
i ended up laying down for a while and the throbbing didn't go away... i finally got it to mellow out... it was a pretty relaxing night after that... which is always nice....
