week in review...

so once again i'm a total slacker... here is my week in review! yay!

monday: i felt really off so i didn't end up going to class... bad me... but the classes are not required for attendance so i didn't feel so bad plus they just went over a powerpoint that will now be on the course website... yay! i had choir and it went pretty well... the sight reading of danish is not my favorite thing... and i know he ment it for good but the director made point to tell me to make everything smoother with my singing but i'm just trying to sight read words and songs i don't know... kind of hard but i'll try my best... i'm sure i'll get used to it... and i know that i was told that because i understand.... i really like riding my bike after choir because the streets are mostly dead around 10pm and i enjoy having peace and quiet with myself... still kind of creepy but all the streets are lit up and i've got my leatherman always handy just in case... but the danes are very against weapons so i think i'd scare off anyone that tried... (i hope...)

tuesday: tuesday was filled with my history class and grocery shopping... found a huge thing of nutella like you saw on my pictures... it is quite the process to go get groceries i'm always baffled but it has a lot to do with the fact that many people don't have cars... so it is what it is... i load up my backpack with groceries rather than my car... and i have to go 3times as often... but thats ok...

wednesday: we had our marketing class... it was fun we talked about how mcdonalds is different in everyone's country but what was the same... marketing and company strategies... it was pretty cool... i don't remember what i did wed afternoon but it probably wasn't much...

thursday: i slept in and rishma made me soup that morning... it was yummy! i had literature class... the class is always a little boring but thats how it is i guess... i like the short story and the play we read but it is hard to focus when the teacher talks low and slow and discusses everyline... thursday night krista and i went out to this bar where we had a free ticket to get in the door and for our first drink... there were lots of international students... it is the place to be on thursday nights... it was fun... i did drink more than i planned but i never got stupid... i only drank more than i planned because the two danish girls we were with bought us rounds of shots... so i had two drinks and two shots... ummm yeah... they were very danish shots called FISK (which creeps me out because that is danish for fish...haha!) they weren't bad... sort of tasted like licorice (which i don't like but it wasn't crazy bad) and it burned in my nose like vapor-rub... it was weird but still doesn't hurt to act like the danes... also the pear cider i had was to die for... hands down my favorite bottled drink ever!

friday: i did sleep in this morning... a little tired after a long night at the bar... i know i am 21 but i feel like i'm 51 and can't handle staying out that late haha! krista and i went and walked around the shopping streets for a marketing assignment that is due next week... there is a harry potter festival going on this weekend... mostly for kids but it was super cute! :) the city always has a lot going on for kids especially... it is really nice... :)

well i'm getting pretty sleepy again and i think i've got a few things to get done tomorrow along with a bike ride to a inner coastline of water maybe an hour bike ride away... a bunch of international students in my classes want to go... so we will see how that works out! haha! i'm really afraid we will all get lost... but we will see...

and i think that krista and i along with this danish girl maya are going to the zoo on sunday so that should be a good time... :)
